How it works
Set it up once, pair the screens, and keep it current from wherever you are. Hosebed fetches the weather, tides and flag status on its own.
Four steps
Set up your board
Add your apparatus, district lists (hydrants, alarms, buildings), expiration trackers and staff. We help you bring over what is on your whiteboard today. Everything is your own data, named the way your department says it.
Pair your screens
Open Hosebed in the browser on any TV, kiosk PC or touchscreen. It shows a short code; type it into Displays on your phone and pick the layout that screen shows. Nothing to install, and you can revoke a screen at any time.
Keep it current
Officers update status and notes from a phone or laptop, or walk up to a touchscreen and touch a panel. Changes reach every screen within 30 seconds, dated and recorded under a name.
Let it fetch the rest
National Weather Service forecasts and alerts, NOAA tide predictions and US and state flag status refresh on their own. If a source goes quiet, the board says "unknown" rather than showing something old.

Themes
Every screen can wear its own
Themes change colours, typefaces and line weights. They never change how status is shown: an out-of-service unit floods its header on every theme, and every theme is checked for contrast before it can go on a wall.
